The Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9 "Tridents" is one of the U.S. Navy's premier helicopter squadrons, operating the MH-60S Seahawk in support of carrier strike group operations around the world. Homeported at Naval Air Station North Island, California, HSC-9 is assigned to Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8) and provides critical aviation support for the U.S. Navy's global maritime mission.
