The Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 123 "Screwtops" is one of the U.S. Navy's premier E-2D Advanced Hawkeye squadrons, providing airborne command and control, battle management, air surveillance, and early warning capabilities for Carrier Strike Groups around the world. Homeported at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, VAW-123 is assigned to Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) and deploys aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers in support of global maritime operations.
